O'Hara's Online Newsletter

Our monthly newsletter for November was interrupted by a really nasty dame named WILMA! This is the first time in 16 years that our newsletter did not go to press. I hope that all of our friends and customers lives are able to return to normal as soon as possible.

There are a few important dates coming up and I wanted to take time to make sure you all are kept informed!

The annual celebration of the beginning of the holiday season is November 29th, Christmas on Las Olas! This is a really fun night where Las Olas Boulevard is for pedestrian traffic only. This street party is a favorite of many people who have made O'Hara's part of their holiday tradition, meeting friends, a reunion of sorts. Don't miss it! Christmas on Las Olas is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

In December O'Hara's welcomes back Pee Wee Ellis with the Neto Funk Allstar Band. Dec 20th in Hollywood and Dec. 21st on Las Olas. Pee Wee Ellis was one of the original sax players with the original James Brown Band and then moved to Europe where he did a very long stint with Van Morrison as musical director arranger; and performed on many of Van Morrison's albums. He makes his home in England and loves the warm tropical climate of winter in South Florida. Who doesn't?

Also coming up on Sunday afternoon matinees:
November 13th - Kevin Lee Canfield jazz crooner with Danny Burger and Don Coffman
November 20 - Dana Paul Quartet
November 27th - Cheryl Fisher & Eric Allison Jazz Quintet
December 4th - Coco Rouzier Jazz & Blues Quintet
December 11 - Kevin Lee Canfield jazz crooner with Danny Burger and Don Coffman

On December 4th don't miss the Dream Car Classic in Hollywood. From 10 Am to 4 PM, stroll the boulevard and vote for your favorite classic car.

Watch for the New Years Eve line up soon to be posted on our web site.

Happy Thanksgiving!
